David F. Perse, M.D., was appointed President of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in April 2011 and became CEO in February 2012. A board-certified general surgeon, he joined St. Vincent Charity after spending 25 years on the medical staff at Lutheran Hospital. Additionally, he held the position of President at Lutheran Hospital and served as the Regional Director of Wound Care for the Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospitals.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his neurology residency at the University of Maryland.
